I just know that I bought a mini mill and had modified pretty severely to meet my needs (or wants really) for doing my own tinkering at home. I think you will be very happy none the less.

The first is an ER16 machine from little machine shop. the plusses seem to be a slightly bigger table on Y and it is capable of a higher RPM, which might matter because it will at times cut plastics.
